United Nations out to tax U.S. citizens
There is an event coming up in the United Nations on Sept. 13 that has received very little coverage in the national press and is a subject that every United States taxpayer should be aware of and objecting to. A meeting and vote on giving the United Nations authority to levy taxes on U.S. citizens will occur. Kofi Annan and our friend, the president of France, have already lined up 110 countries to vote for it, which means only a U.S. veto will stop it from occurring. The U.N. has two main objectives:
(1) Re-distribution of United States wealth to third world countries;
(2) Have the United States finance worldwide welfare programs.
In a recent speech, Annan made the following statement: “It is particularly shameful that the United States, the most prosperous and successful country in the history of the world, should be one of the least generous in terms of share of its gross national product it devotes to helping the world’s poor.”
If the U.N. is allowed to tax our citizens, this action will put an end to United States sovereignty. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want that gang of international thieves deciding who to give my hard earned dollars to. Right now, the UN plan is a tax on all currency transactions, airline flights and the Internet; more will follow. Contact your congressman and insist that this not be allowed to happen.
