The couple has four grandchildren.
Mrs. Ross is the former Carolyn Hall of Sumter.

The Rev. Billy Wade and Leota Downing of Sumter celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Aug. 21, 1009, at their home with friends and family.
The couple’s four children and their spouses are: Elmer and Ruth Heaberlin and Dr. Paul Downing, all of Columbia; Michael Downing of Sumter; and Dr. Stephen and Debbie Hofferbert of Brazil, South America.
The couple has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Juhl of Dalzell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 25, 2009, in Indian Trail, N.C.

The couple has four grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. James S. Mann Jr.

Lillian Corine Jackson Mann and James Stevenson Mann Jr. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows on July 12, 2009, at Calvary Nazarene Church. The Rev. F. Arthur Sharpe officiated at the renewal service.
Music was provided by Michele Sharpe, pianist; and the daughter of the bride and bridegroom, Teresa Elaine Mann, served as vocalist.
