Clerk apparently attacked by irate customer

Apparently unhappy with her lottery tickets, a woman named "Toot-Toot" reportedly threw objects at a 52-year-old female clerk early Tuesday night at a Lynchburg convenience store.

A report said about 6:18 p.m. on Tuesday, "Toot-Toot" came back into the store in the 2900 block of Narrow Paved Road in an irate frame of mind, claiming her lottery tickets were not "rung up" properly and began cussing at the clerk. The clerk told deputies "Toot-Toot" didn't say what she thought was wrong with the tickets, and started throwing objects, hitting the clerk's collarbone with an electronic card processor before leaving.
