Article published: Apr 23, 2009 1 dead in Thibodaux crash
A 28-year-old man was killed and his 58-year-old passenger was injured when the car they were in ran off a road in Thibodaux.
Kirk Patrick Fletcher of Labadieville was driving a 2002 Monte Carlo shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday when the car struck a driveway culvert, Police Chief Craig Melancon said.
Melancon said the car went airborne and landed in a ditch.
Fletcher was pronounced dead at the scene. Passenger Albert Williams of Napoleonville was hospitalized with injuries described as serious but not life threatening.
