Man added to areas most wanted
A 21-year-old man was added to the Sumter County Sheriffs Most Wanted list on Thursday, and is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Tiobhan Jarod White, whose last known address was 332 E. Sumter St., Mayesville, is wanted on charges of armed robbery and two counts of pointing and presenting a firearm, the Sumter County Sheriffs Office said. About 2:50 a.m. on May 3, White and two other men were talking to three women at a club in the 4300 block of Queen Chapel Road when the conversation took a turn for the worse, a report said. White pulled out a gun and took a purse valued at $120 containing $100 in cash and personal effects from a 29-year-old woman.
White also pointed his gun at a 26-year-old woman and a 30-year-old woman, the report said. White is described as 6 feet tall and 130 pounds.
If anyone has information on White, please call the Sumter County Sheriffs Office at (803) 436-2700 or Crime Stoppers at (803) 436-2718. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
