4th suspect arrested in case

A 19-year-old man turned himself in to authorities early Thursday morning in connection with the June 17 shooting death of a 37-year-old man at his DuBose Siding Road home — the fourth suspect arrested thus far.

Antwan Raheem Johnson, of Camden, has been charged with murder, burglary and armed robbery and was given a $75,000 surety bond by Judge George Gibson on Thursday.

Johnson will have to appear before a Circuit Court judge for the other charges and remains at Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center.

William McKnight Smith, 19, of Rembert, also appeared before Gibson on Thursday with the same outcome for his charges.

Christopher Davis, 37, of 5230 DuBose Siding Road, was killed at his home during a robbery, authorities said, in what is thought to be a drug-related incident.

Lakiem Davar Butler, 19, of Camden, turned himself in at the Law Enforcement Center on June 22, the same day Anogory Santrell Slater, 22, of Rembert, was also brought into custody, and both men are facing the same charges as Johnson and Smith.
