CORRECTION
Clifford Pat Crawford, who will be inducted into the Sumter Sports Hall of Fame on Thursday, was 91 years old when he died in 1994.
Crawfords age at the time of his death was incorrect in the story about his induction in Sundays edition of The Item. Also, Crawford is the first person from Sumter to play Major League Baseball and to play in a World Series. That fact wasnt clarified in Sundays story.
