Despite a chilly, misty Saturday, crowds turned out for the first Christmas at Patriot Hall to shop for gifts, meet Santa Claus and hear music by local students and other groups. At least 40 vendors sold a variety of artwork, food, clothing and Christmas decorations. Colclough and the Sumter Artists' Guild coordinated their events with the guild hosting its 7th-annual Holiday Mart the same day.
