2 adjacent homes on fire in Sumter's historic district

Sumter firefighters are at a house fire at the corner of McQueen Street and West Hampton Avenue.
The fire started at one house and spread to an adjacent house.
Sumter Fire Department Battalion Chief Joey Duggan said they don't think anyone is in either home.
