Rembert man drowns Saturday

Allen Hunter Sr., 71, of Rembert, drowned Saturday while fishing at a pond in the 5600 block of Rabbit Run Road, Rembert, the Sumter County Sheriff's Office reported.
A dive team recovered his body after he was reported missing by his family.
Hunter's body was turned over to the office of the Sumter Coroner.
