Making Barbie Doll birthday cakes, decorating wedding cakes, shelling peas and butter beans on the screened porch with the big fan blowing, an apron always around her waist, sitting at the sewing machine, talking with her best friend on the phone, her hands, making jelly, dancing in the kitchen, laughing at my Grandaddy, her love for her church that she attended 60-plus years, her favorite red sweater and lipstick, her "need" for more shoes, her worn out Bible, her spunky spirit as seen when she chose a pink casket, her love of God and the love we could feel when we were with her - these are just a few of the memories that we will always cherish of our sweet, sweet Grandmama. She sought his praise until he called her home!!
We would like to also thank hospice and Karesh Wing for taking such good care of her in the last stage of her life.
