LYNCHBURG - Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Miller will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at St. Matthew AME Church, with the Rev. David Bright, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Sanders Cemetery, directed by Kenneth L. Boatwright Sr. and the staff of Jefferson Funeral Home Service Inc.
Mrs. Miller, 68, was a daughter of the late Albert and Fannie Harrison, and the widow of Jackie Miller. She passed on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018.
She joined St. Matthew AME Church at an early age. Ms. Barbara attended Lee County public schools and found her joy in providing home health service for members of her community.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, two brothers and four sons.
Survivors include her children, Brittany, Mary, Edward and Shervin; sisters, Katherine Harrison and Florence Nowlin; brothers, Rodney and Gary Harrison; Frederick North of the home; grand and great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and close friends.
The family is receiving visitors at the residence, 266 Main St.
