Funeral services for Beauregard Brock will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church, 1715 S. Guignard Parkway, with the Rev. M.G. Walters, Pastor, and the Rev. Carl McKnight as Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Hillside Memorial Park, 3001 Cains Mill Road, Sumter. Mr. Brock will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Monday for viewing until the hour of service.
Beauregard Brock, husband of Flossie Buckery Brock, transitioned on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at his home in Sumter. Born and raised in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Rev. Luther Brock and Carrie Mack Brock.
Mr. Brock was a lifelong member of St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church in Sumter.
Survivors include his wife, Flossie Buckery Brock; children Mae Brock of New Jersey, Beverly Brock of Texas, Angela Brock-Miller (Allen), Tracy Brock, Rodney Brock and Rasheen Brock, all of New York, and Tamika Brock of Connecticut; seven grandchildren; three great-grands; a sister, Agnes Brock Bullock of Maryland; a dear nephew, Ray Goodman and his wife, Cheryl Goodman, of Sumter; and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
