Born on April 25, 1963, in Bitburg, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Samuel George Schenk and Norman Jean Yarnot Schenk. She was a member of Bibleway Holiness Church and was employed by Harvin Choice Meats.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years; two sons, Steven Coulter and Jonathan Coulter, both of Sumter; a sister, Robin Jean Brown (Joseph) of Sumter; her special niece and caregiver, Samantha Brown; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday at Bibleway Holiness Church with the Rev. Brent Thigpen officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
