I, Marion Richburg, retired U.S. Air Force technical sergeant, had the great privilege of meeting George H.W. Bush when he was the director of the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency). I was assigned to the SR-71 Blackbird Reconnaissance Group USAF, and our missions were highly classified. I was assigned to Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa. As a result of our missions, we were awarded the Presidential Unit Award.
President George H.W. Bush will be missed very much. He was a great person and a loving person.
It was a pleasure to have worked under his directions.
May God bless his family and the United States of America.
MARION RICHBURG
