Mr. Muldrow attended the public schools of Sumter County. He later joined the United States Army, where he was wounded and received a Purple Heart. He was a man who loved people and was loved by many. He never met a stranger. He was very appreciative of the Washington family for caring for him like a brother. Mr. Muldrow lived in many residential care facilities prior to moving to Oliver Residential Care Facility, where he resided for six years. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver were great caregivers and they shared a great bond. Muldrow later joined Mount Zion Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his sibling, Frances Muldrow of New Jersey, Calvin Muldrow of Virginia and Victor Moultry of Jacksonville, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Chloe Canty, whom he was raised by after the passing of his mother; sibling, John Butler; and his uncles, Jim Ballard, Moses Ballard and Ismel Ballard.
