Charles Crawford Muldrow, affectionately known as "Soulie Jr.", was born on May 4, 1936, and departed this life on Nov. 17, 2017, at Providence Northeast Hospital.
Mr. Muldrow attended the public schools of Sumter County. He later joined the United States Army, where he was wounded and received a Purple Heart. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver were great caregivers and they shared a great bond. Muldrow later joined Mount Zion Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his sibling, Frances Muldrow of New Jersey, Calvin Muldrow of Virginia and Victor Moultry of Jacksonville, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Chloe Canty, whom he was raised by after the passing of his mother; sibling, John Butler; and his uncles, Jim Ballard, Moses Ballard and Ismel Ballard.
