CHARLES E. LAND JR.

MANNING — Charles Edward Land Jr., 66, husband of Terry Crisp Land, died peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at McLeod Hospice House.

Born on Nov. 9, 1951, in Manning, he was a son of the late Charles Edward Land Sr. and Elvy Nesbitt Land. He was a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. He was a member of the National Bird Hunter’s Association. He was the owner and operator of Manning Finance Co. for 33 years, which his wife continues to operate.

He is survived by his wife and son, Charles Edward Land III, both of Manning.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Stephens Funeral Home.

Services will be private.
