City of Sumter announces holiday trash, recyclable pickup

The City of Sumter will not collect household garbage or recyclables on Christmas Day. Residents with Monday garbage and recycling service will have pickup on Saturday, Dec. 23. Residents are asked to have their roll cart and recycling bin at the curb by 7 a.m.

There will be household garbage and recycling pickup on New Year's Day.
