City of Sumter to perform hydrant tests, water main repairs

The City of Sumter will perform fire hydrant flow tests on South Pike West and Cormier Drive between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Water customers in the surrounding area may experience temporary discolored water.

Repair on the water main on South Guignard Drive near Pocalla Road / U.S. 15 South will be completed on Wednesday. There will be brief service interruptions to customers during this repair.
