Born on April 17, 1954, in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph James McElveen and Genevieve Stoll McElveen. She was a member of Manning First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Mary M. Greenway (Barry) of Roswell, Georgia; three brothers, Joseph James McElveen Jr. (Mary) of Vienna, Virginia, Philip H. McElveen (Karen) of Roswell, Georgia, and Frank S. McElveen (Candy) of Winder, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Manning Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Phillip Reynolds officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
