DARLINGTON - Minister Debra Boatwright Jett was born on July 13, 1954, in Darlington, to the late Hubert "HK" and Margaret C. Boatwright. She entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 21, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Raleigh Jett Jr. The light of her life shines in the memory of three children, Lynette (Arthur) Pope of Goose Creek, and Mark (Latonya) Jett and Raleigh (Dana) Jett III, both of Florence; four sisters, Dr. G.Y. Boatwright of Chicago, Catherine (Thomas Anthony) Billups of Wallingford, Connecticut, her twin, Dianne Boatwright and Teresa Boatwright, both of Darlington; one brother, Kenneth L. Boatwright Sr. of Timmonsville; one aunt, Ophelia Harris of Pamplico; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister-law, Nora Lee Robinson of Darlington; one brother-in-law, David (Margee) Jett; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Bethel AME Church. Interment will follow at Florence National Cemetery, directed by Jefferson Funeral Home Service Inc. of Lynchburg.

Public viewing is from 2 to 6 p.m. today at 501 S. Main St., Darlington.
