Dorothy Ann Jones Grooms, 77, widow of Willie Grooms, died on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, in Lithonia, Georgia.
Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Sarah Jane Frierson Jones.
The family will receive friends beginning Thursday at the home of her sister, Virginia Washington, 1661 Garners Ferry Road, Eastover, SC 29044.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Palmer Memorial Chapel Inc.
