EVERETT L. RUSSELL
Everett Levon Russell, 50, was born on April 14, 1968, in Sumter, a son of Pauline Russell and John Vern Herriott Sr. He was the husband of Sheila Jackson Russell.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael W. Russell, Bobby J. Lewis and John V. Herriott.
He departed this life on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, in Sumter.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Russell; daughter, Daisha Jackson; parents, Pauline Russell and John Vern Herriott Sr.; four sisters, Carletta Russell, Linda (Anthony) Robinson, Glenda Herriott and Reyneisha Wright; two brothers, Arthur J. (Elaine) Brown and Darrell (Tracy) Herriott; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday at St. James United Methodist Church, 720 Broad St., Sumter, with Elder Cheryl Johnson, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Dicks Cemetery.
A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.
The family is receiving friends at 803 Miller Road, Sumter.
