NEW YORK, N.Y. - Exile "Buddy" King, 85, widower of Deloris Noble King, died on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at his residence.
He was born on Dec. 21, 1932, in Clarendon County, a son of the late Bernie and Maggie Sumter.
Funeral services for Mr. King will be held at noon on Monday at St. Mark AME Church, 2 1st St., Summerton, with the Rev. Williette Canty, pastor, eulogist, the Rev. J.C. Lane presiding and Minister Tamekia Hunter Ross assisting. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister, Sandra L. Sumter, 2128 Greenville Circle, Sumter.
These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
