The Fire Ants will carry a 10-7 overall record into the series while Union is 3-6.
USC Sumter comes in after taking three of four from Brunswick Community College over the weekend at Riley Park.
Brunswick won the opening game 3-0 before USCS won the final three games by scores of 4-3, 2-0 and 9-4.
Blake Robinson took the loss in the opener, falling to 3-1, despite allowing just three hits and the three runs in a complete game effort. He struck out five and didn't walk a batter, but the three hits were two doubles and a triple.
Sumter had four hits, two of them from Eric McGirt. Donta Green had a double.
In Saturday's second game, USC Sumter scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull out the 4-3 win.
McGirt had a 2-run single during the rally and had two of the Fire Ants' six hits. Vince Hanna had a double and scored two runs, while Brett Young and Austin Price also scored runs.
Tristen Campbell pitched 1 2/3 innings in relief to get the win and improve to 2-0. JD Burrows got the final out for his third save.
In Sunday's opener, Jack Webb pitched six shutout innings and Campbell and Burrows finished the seventh in the 2-0 win.
Webb allowed just four hits while striking out six and walking one. Campbell recorded the first two out but allowed two hits. Burrows recorded the final out with a strikeout.
Leniel Gonzalez had two hits and scored two runs for USCS. McGirt also had a hit and a run, and Austin Morris had a hit and a run batted in.
Sumter finally got the bats going in the series finale, picking up 14 hits in the 9-4 win, scoring three runs in the first, one in the second and five in the third.
McGirt had two hits, including a double, two runs and two RBI. Morris had two hits, one of them a double, with two RBI and Young had a hit and two RBI.
Gonzalez, Price, Tyler Mangum and Green each had two hits with Mangum and Green scoring two runs apiece. Cole Hybarger had a double, a run and an RBI.
Campbell got the win, improving to 3-0. He worked three innings, striking out five and walking none while allowing four hits.
