The Sumter Item held its first-ever Best of Sumter winners celebration on Tuesday at La Piazza in downtown Sumter.
Businesses, professionals, educators, restaurants, medical providers and community leaders came out for the red carpet event to celebrate the 264 winners of the 2018 readers’ choice contest.
