"99" or Ninnie departed this life on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, in Rembert.
Ninnie leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, LaKishia Hope (Larry Jr.) Connor; two loving granddaughters, Lauryn Faith Connor and Candice M. Granderson, both of Chesterfield, Virginia; beloved goddaughter, Haley Jo Martin; brother, Marion (Josephine) Sanders Jr.; seven sisters, Doretha Alston, Ruby Richardson, Polly (Robert) Dinkins, Martha Dennis, Evelyn Sanders, Louise (Melvin) Keith and Peggy (Donald) Perry; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 182 S. Pike St., Sumter, with Aurelia Hill, pastor, and Elder Wanda Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Greater Mount Pisgah Church cemetery.
A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.
The family is receiving friends at 4256 Furman Field Road, Rembert.
