PAWLEYS ISLAND - Montgomery Ford Williams and James Ecton Green Jr., both of Nashville, Tennessee, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Pawleys Island Chapel.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Theophilus Darius Williams III of Sumter and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris K. Ford Jr. of Elloree and the late Mr. and Mrs. Theophilus Darius Williams Jr. of Sumter. She graduated from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2009 with a Doctor of Pharmacy. She is an associate professor of pharmacy practice at Belmont University in Nashville.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ecton Green of Lexington, Kentucky, and the grandson of Mrs. Zee Faulkner Kurfess of Lexington, Kentucky, and the late Mr. Joseph Sable Wile Jr. and the late Mr. Ecton Green Jr. He graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a CPA with WSW CPAs in Nashville.

The Rev. Lindsey Alexandra Groves, UKirk Nashville minister to Belmont and Vanderbilt universities, officiated.

Music was provided by Lauren Coffin Decker, violinist; and Mark Gadreau, bagpiper.

She was escorted by her father.

McBride Williams Dailey Vellon served as matron of honor. Flower girls were Rosemond Nell Williams and Eloise Morris Williams, nieces of the bride.

Mr. Garrett Wile Green, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Mr. Theophilus Darius Williams IV, brother of the bride, served as reader.

The bride's parents held the reception at the Pelican Inn, Pawleys Island.

The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at the Heritage Club, Pawleys Island.

Following a wedding trip to the Greek Isles, the couple resides in Nashville.
