MANNING - Harry Arnold Myers, 79, husband of Aliher Felkel Myers, died on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at McLeod Hospice House.

Born on Feb. 8, 1939, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Loring Lee Myers and Leila Chewning Myers. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a proud member of the 82nd Airborne Division. He loved to cook and he was an avid fisherman. He was affectionately known as "Sonny," "Tiny Brother," "Brother," "Bubba" and "Poppi."

He is survived by his wife of Manning; a daughter, Tami Miller of Myrtle Beach; a son, Jonathan Myers of Myrtle Beach; a sister, Marian Myers Larisey (Jack Breazeale) of Mount Pleasant; three grandchildren, Joshua "Rooster" Skipper (Tatiana) of Anderson, Gabby "Little Buddy" Fowler (Zach) of Sumter and Ross "Roscoe" Miller of Myrtle Beach; and a great-grandchild, Killian Baer Skipper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Myers Hamilton.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Pam Muise officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home.
