High school students learn about genes

Manning High School students visited the Greenwood Genetic Center "Gene Machine" Mobile Science Lab participating in the exploration of knowledge concerning the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of birth defects, autism and intellectual disabilities. The Gene Machine provides scenarios that give students the opportunity to learn about genetic traits and disorders and make a diagnosis, according to www.ggc.org.
