Hospital department adds program to help with spiritual needs


According to a news release from McLeod Health Clarendon, McLeod Health Clarendon Volunteer Services Department has added the Volunteer Spiritual Services Program.

This program will ensure chaplains and pastoral care volunteers are available for emotional and spiritual needs of patients, families and staff.

"The importance of recognizing a person's spiritual wellbeing during illness and healing should not be overlooked. We hope to grow this program while providing a caring and supportive presence to those who are facing illness, crisis, end of life and other life-changing circumstances," Stacy Mosier, volunteer services coordinator, said.
