JANIE HODGE

MANNING - Janie Earline McGrady Hodge, 78, widow of Allen Furman Hodge, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at home.

Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Jerome H. McGrady and Elease Miller McGrady.

Mrs. Hodge was a member of Manning Baptist Temple.

Surviving are two sons, Lewis Hodge, Sr. (Ann) of Manning and A.J. Hodge of Lexington; one brother, Jerry McGrady of Lexington; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Susie Cutter, a son, Allen Furman Hodge, Jr. and three brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Forreston Cemetery in Forreston with Rev. William Jeffers officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home, 4802 Kenwood Rd., Manning.
