She was born on March 25, 1964, in Sumter County, an adopted daughter of the late Brooks and Annie Mae McPherson June and biological daughter of the late Henry Arthur and Lelia Baldwin. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Sumter High School Class of 1982. Jeanette also attended Central Carolina Technical College, where she received an associate degree in science. She continued her education and did further studies in the Associate of Arts program, also at Central Carolina. In her youth, Jeanette worshiped at Jehovah Baptist Church and later joined City of Refuge.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her siblings, Barbara Jean Arthur, Michael Arthur and Alfred Arthur; Georgia family, Annetta (Jeff) King, Daisy (Ceterick) Wilson, Tenisa Johnson, Simmie King, Victor (Marie) King and Dwayne (Kayla) King; Sumter family, Charles June and Larry June; sister-in-law, Ella Mae June; Shirley Walter McCray, Catherine (Lloyd) McCray, Annette (Robert) Mickens, Janice Cooper, Veronia (Bobby) Wright, Vanessa Ruth and Edward (Tonya) McBride; and special friend, Antonio Owens.
She was preceded in death by Willie L. June, Hazel (Hattie) June, Brooks June and Jimmie McCray.
Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.
Ms. Reddick will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. on Friday for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Salem Chapel and Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150, with the Rev. Ricky Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Walker Cemetery.
Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
