BISHOPVILLE - Jessie "Jay" Slater, 84, beloved husband of Rosa Pearson Slater, passed on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, Hartsville.
Born in Lee County, he was a son of the late Edmond Slater and Vermelle Slater Wilson.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the home, 1391 Herndon Road, Bishopville.
