John Leslie "Les" Paul Jr., 47, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, after a brief illness.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Philip's Church, 142 Church St.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. today at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun St.
Les was born on Feb. 13, 1970, in Charleston, a son of John Leslie Paul and Gaylord "Gail" Beebe Paul. He attended the College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina. He was an avid Gamecocks fan and outdoorsman. He was a waiter at Anson's Restaurant.
He is survived by his parents, John and Gail of Mount Pleasant; and brother, Mason C. Paul (Valerie) of Bozeman, Montana.
