MANNING - John Patterson Jr., 60, husband of Carolyn Mellerson Patterson, died on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018.
He was born on Jan. 8, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York, a son of the late John W. and Montrene Ragin Patterson.
Funeral services for Mr. Patterson will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at True Word Baptist Church, 10750 Scott Ave., Paxville, with Pastor Robert Gibson officiating.
The family is receiving friends at his residence, 1827 Boyd Road, Manning.
These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
