LAUREN A. SMITH
Lauren Ashleigh Smith, age 32, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Palmetto Health Tuomey.
Born July 29, 1985 in Sumter, she was the daughter of Richard C. Smith and the late Susan C. Smith. Lauren's beautiful soul and smile will be deeply missed. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends and making them laugh by telling stories with great enthusiasm.
She leaves behind her loving partner, Mitchell Walters, of Florence; grandmother, Blanche Smith; brother, Richard Brandon Smith (Leah); nephews, Richard Landon Smith and Dillon Smith; aunts, Cindy Smith, Becki Bradham (Randall) and Julie McGuire (Torrow); uncle, David Smith; and cousins, Kyle (Desiree), Garrett, Nikki (Lee), Ryan, Cody, Emzi, Ally, Molly, Bethany, Alyssa, Brandon and Levi.
In addition to her mother, Susan Smith, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, William C. Smith and Julian and Sue Cousar.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Wise Drive Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the family residence.
