Learning about our firefighters

Students from First Presbyterian Preschool took a field trip on Wednesday to the new Sumter Fire Department in the Public Safety Complex on North Lafayette Drive. Students were able to tour the facility led by Division Chief Johnnie Rose; see Master Firefighter Jordan Duggan climb the ladder of a firetruck; see Duggan in his personal protective equipment; and touch the self-contained breathing mask of Fire Prevention Specialist Selena Smith.
