Funeral services for Letha Price Richardson, 91, who entered into rest on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home. The Rev. Al Sims will officiate with burial to follow at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home.
Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home is serving the family.
Mrs. Richardson, widow of Ruben Watford, Julian Price and David Richardson, was born in Darlington County. She was a daughter of the late Louis Larymore and Lizzie Caroline Hicks. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker all of her life. She loved cooking, canning and just taking care of her family. She was just an all-around wonderful person.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Delta) Watford of Ashwood, Delmar Watford of Sumter, Ebbie (Sherry) Price of Sumter, Clement (Margie) Price of Ashwood and Wyman (Michelle) Price of Bishopville; daughters, Brenda Ardis of Sumter, Jennifer (Deckle) Logan of Ashwood and Wendy P. (John) Boone of Bishopville; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
