LILA M. RIGGINS
Lila Muldrow Riggins, 101, widow of Roscoe Asbury Riggins, of Greenville, died on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018.
Born in Mayesville, she was a daughter of the late Robert Boyd and Margaret Elizabeth Montgomery Muldrow. Lila was of the Presbyterian faith and attended Winthrop College.
She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Taylor of Greenville and Rosalind Kay (Brad) of Marietta, Georgia; five grandchildren, Tripp Kay, Ashley Kay, Justin Frost, Tommy Taylor and Lee Taylor; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert W. Muldrow (Coni) of Clearwater, Florida.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Lila was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Riggins; a sister, Jean Swensen; and three brothers, Buck, Ned and Will Muldrow.
Visitation will be held from 12:15 until 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown chapel. Burial will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
