Laurence Manning Academy's Mark Lupori won the SCISA Individual Bowling Championship on Thursday at Gamecock Lanes.

Lupori had a 3-game score of 687. He defeated Tyler Iasecki of Cardinal Newman, who finished second with a score of 654.

VARSITY BASKETBALL

PAGELAND - DaVeon Thomas made a layup with 4.8 seconds remaining in the game to lift Lee Central High School to a 52-50 victory over Central on Wednesday at the CHS gymnasium.

The Stallions, who improved to 16-3 overall and 8-0 in Region IV-2A, were led in scoring by Torian Wilson with 15 points. Daequan Thomas added 12 points and Dayrice Austin had six points and 12 rebounds.

JV BASKETBALL

PAGELAND - Daurrion Kelly scored 16 points to lead Lee Central High School to a 55-46 victory over Central on Wednesday at the CHS gymnasium.

Miguel Watters added 12 points and KJ Holloman had 11.

MS BASKETBALL

Chestnut Oaks 53

Bates 52

Chestnut Oaks Middle School defeated Bates 53-52 on Thursday at the BMS gymnasium.

Jordan Dantzler led the Bantams with 16 points. Devin Quattlebaum and Matthew Rogers both had nine.

Lee Central 50

Johnson 17

TIMMONSVILLE - Lee Central Middle School remained undefeated with a 50-17 victory over Johnson Middle School on Wednesday at the JMS gymnasium.

Trayvon Pearson and Trey Simon led the Stallions with eight points apiece.

B TEAM BASKETBALL

Thomas Sumter 46

Dillon Christian 15

DILLON - Ayden Evers had a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds to lead Thomas Sumter Academy to a 46-15 victory over Dillon Christian School on Thursday at the DCS school.

Chris Howes had 10 points, while Sammy Kessinger and Clay Marshall both had six. Marshall had 10 rebounds and Landyn Stevens had eight rebounds.

ORANGEBURG - Laurence Manning Academy improved to 6-1 with a 35-19 victory over Orangeburg Prep on Wednesday at the OP gymnasium.

Brandon King led the Swampcats with 10 points. Micky Jordan added six.

Wilson Hall 43

Colleton Prep 13

Wilson Hall had all 13 of its player score in a 43-13 victory over Colleton Prep on Wednesday at Nash Student Center.

Douglas McAdams and John Osteen both had seven points to lead the 11-3 Barons. Boykin Wilder added five. Connor Hanson led in rebounding with six.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson 30

Sumter 28

Sumter High School lost to Orangeburg-Wilkinson 30-28 on Wednesday at the SHS gymnasium.

Devin Boston led the Gamecocks with nine points, seven rebounds and seven blocked shots. Jonathan Price added five points and four assists.

SHS will play either Westwood or Lower Richland on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. in the Sumter JV/B Team tournament.
