Shaw AFB conducting major accident response exercise Friday

The 20th Fighter Wing inspector general team is scheduled to conduct a major accident response exercise at Shaw Air Force Base on Friday.
The exercise will test airmen’s ability to respond to a large fuel spill that encroaches on the base’s southern border near U.S. Highway 378 (Broad Street). Water used in the exercise will be dyed green to represent fuel.
