MARY ANN BURGESS

TURBEVILLE - Mary Ann Gamble Burgess, 77, widow of Thomas Burgess Jr., died on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at her residence, 2517 Sandhill Road in Turbeville.

She was born on June 17, 1941, a daughter of the late Robert Gamble and Edna Gamble.

Funeral services for Mrs. Burgess will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 1146 Old Manning Road, Turbeville.

Pastor Herman Gibson will officiate, and Pastor Nathaniel Wilson, Deacon Luther Faulk and Deacon Micheal Davis will assist.

Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her daughter, Monika and Kervin Whack, 1258 Main St. in Turbeville.

These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
