Master Messiah K. Streater, 13, was born on May 6, 2005, in Willingboro, New Jersey, to Gene and Tamika Hawkins Streater.
He departed this life on Saturday, July 21, 2018, in Columbia.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, four sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 803 S. Harvin St., Sumter, with M.H. Newton, pastor, and the Rev. Jarvis Wash officiating.
Public viewing will be held one hour prior to service at the church.
The family is receiving friends at 1679 Musket Trail, Sumter.
