NANCY L. LUCAS
It is with great sadness that the family of Nancy L. Lucas announces her passing on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the age of 73. She will be remembered fondly by: her husband of 53 years, Percy L. Lucas Jr.; two sons, Rodney and Vernon; four grandchildren, Annie, Alexandria, Haley and Austin; one sister, Shirley Bucannon; one brother, Henry Spears; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 6531 Meeting House Road, Dalzell.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Hopewell Baptist Church, 3285 Peach Orchard Road, Dalzell, with the Rev. Richard Addison, pastor, eulogist.
Wake service will be held Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. in John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter.
The remains will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.
The funeral procession will leave the home at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will be in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia.
