Nettie Mae Coakley departed this life on Dec. 31, 2017, at Palmetto Health Heart Hospital in Columbia.
Born on Feb. 4, 1955, in Lee County, she was the youngest daughter of the late Joe and Nettie Bacote Coakley. She leaves to honor and cherish her memory: a loving and devoted daughter, Kenyatta Brown Washington (Derrick) of Frederick, Maryland; her grandsons, Keaton and Karter, both of Frederick; granddaughter, Kennedy of Frederick; one sister, Edna Coakley of Charlotte, North Carolina; three brothers, Isaac Bacote (Christine) and Joseph Coakely of Jersey City, New Jersey, and Willie Coakley (Earline) of Sumter; godson, Juan McCoy of Columbia; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Bacote and George Bacote.
