Sumter Police Department drive to benefit local food banks

Sumter Police Department is holding a Pursuit to End Hunger food drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday.

Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at Walmart at 1283 Broad St., where members of the department will be with the agency's mobile command center parked outside of the store.
