ROBERT JAMES SR.

SUMMERTON - On Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, Robert "Rabbit" James Sr. departed this life at his residence.

Born on March 23, 1958, in Summerton, he was a son of Mazie James and the late Robert Lee Butler Jr.

Service of remembrance will take place at noon on Friday at Historic Liberty Hill AME Church, 2310 Liberty Hill Road, Summerton, where the pastor, the Rev. Robert China, will bring words of consolation. The service of committal will follow at Historic Liberty Hill AME Church Cemetery.

The family is receiving relatives and friends from 2 to 10 p.m. at the residence of his mother, Mazie James, 1244 Jim Ross Road, Summerton.

Fleming & DeLaine Funeral Home and Chapel of Manning is in charge of these services.
