Funeral services for Rosalina Anduyan James, wife of Vernon James, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Green Acres Assembly of God, 537 Lewis Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Michael Bowman officiating.

Mrs. James will be placed in the church at noon for viewing until the hour of service.

Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

The public may view on Wednesday and the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. at Palmer Memorial Chapel, 304 S. Main St., and other times at 1180 Malone Drive, Sumter.

Mrs. James transitioned on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at NHC in Sumter.

Born in Cebu City, Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Hilarion Anduyan and Francisca Mercado. Mrs. James was a lifelong member of Green Acres Assembly of God Church. She served faithfully with the Missionettes and as a Sunday school teacher. She was employed with the former Glenn Manufacturing Company of Sumter.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon James; eight children, Rodolph A. Garcia of Philippines, Reggie (Nicole) James of Sumter, Randy (Amanda) James and Roderick (Michelle) James of Germany, Vernon "Jeff" (Ashleigh) James of Georgia, Marcelina (Roberto) Etienne of China and Joey and Lisa Mohican; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Linda Alston, Betty James and Sandy James, all of Sumter, Evelyn (Calvin) Woods and Elaine James of Columbia, and Rick Anduyan and Theodore (Norma) Salac, all of the Philippines.
