ROVENA W. BENNETT
MANNING - Rovena Ernestine Witherspoon Bennett, 95, widow of Walter Nathaniel Bennett Sr., died on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at her residence, 1199 Twilight Lane, Manning.
She was born on May 2, 1923, in the Wilson community of Clarendon County, a daughter of the late Chappell Emanuel Witherspoon Sr. and Rovenia Charles Witherspoon.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bennett will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Biggers AME Church, 6208 Kingstree Highway, Manning, with the Rev. Frankie D. White, pastor, officiating, the Rev. Alfred L. Darby, presiding, and the Rev. Albert Thompson, the Rev. Andrew J. Jordan and the Rev. Charles D. Cureton assisting. Burial will follow at the Bennett Cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at her residence.
